Embedding the Library in Canvas

This guide will help faculty with linking library content into their Canvas courses.

Academic Search Complete Articles

Step 1: Go to the list of Databases from the Library's homepage

Step 2: Select Academic Search Complete from the list under A

Step 3: Enter your search terms

Step 4:  Click on the title of an article of interest

Step 5: From the menu on the right of the article's information page, select Permalink to copy and paste the link

Step 6: From an existing module in Canvas, click the “+” button

Step 7: From the drop-down menu box on the screen, select External URL

Step 8: In the URL section, enter Moorpark College's proxy prefix (https://moorparkcollege.idm.oclc.org/login?url=) and the permalink of the article. Enter in a Page Name, select Load in New Tab then click on Add Item. Learn more about permalinks and the proxy prefix here.
