When scanning books, please be aware that there are copyright and fair-use laws that must be observed.
You may scan to a flash drive; please refer to instructions in the "Copiers" room on the 2nd/main floor of the LLR.
Place the book face down onto the glass, making sure that the page is up against the upper left-hand corner of the glass. If you have a stack of single pages, you may place them face-up into the document feeder on the top of the copier.
Using the touchscreen on the copy machine, select “Scanner”.
Place your USB into the left side of the display:
Press the “Start” button.
If you are scanning pages individually, you will need to set up and press "Start" between each page. The scanner will time out after 60 seconds of inactivity and send what has been scanned.
