This guide will help faculty with linking library content into their Canvas courses.

The Proxy Prefix

The Proxy Prefix

The library's proxy prefix is https://moorparkcollege.idm.oclc.org/login?url= and allows resources to be accessed off-campus. 

For example, Academic Search Complete article with the following permalink:

  • http://proxymc.vcccd.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=a9h&AN=137596914&site=ehost-live 

Will need to be replaced with the new proxy prefix at the beginning for it to be accessed off-campus:

  • https://moorparkcollege.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=a9h&AN=137596914&site=ehost-live
