Manga are graphic novels or comics from Japan.

How to Checkout Materials

• 10 item limit​
• Late fines are waived​
• Use your 900# to check out at the Circulation Desk​
• Return in Parking Lot M (book drop) or inside the library
• Items check out for 3 weeks​. 
  • After 3 weeks, they auto-renew if there is no hold on the item​

Searching for manga

The MC Library has manga volumes which can be searched in the library catalog. To find them, search by title, subject, or keyword (e.g. character). See below for other ideas and examples. Go to our catalog to search for resources.

• Keyword search for Japan AND "graphic novels"

Where to find manga in the Library building

• Most of our manga titles will be in the Recreational Reading collection which is on the second floor (near the back of the building in the Reading Lounge area).
• Main Collection items with the call numbers A-HT are on the 2nd floor. HV-Z books are on the 3rd floor.
