Finding Books & eBooks
Please follow these steps to find books on your research topic in the Moorpark College Library:
- Go to moorparkcollege.edu/library
- Type in your topic or title into the search box
- Under Availability, on the left-hand side, select the Held by library
- Under Resource Type, select Books
- If it is available to check out in the library, you will find the call number in parenthesis
- Call numbers A-HT for the Main Collection are on the 2nd floor. HV-Z in the Main Collection and the Oversized (OS) books are on the 3rd floor. Learn more about our collection here.
- Go to the Circulation Desk on the main floor to check out the book with your 900#
You can access online books from the Moorpark College Library's website. To search our catalog of eBooks, follow these instructions:
- Go to moorparkcollege.edu/library
- Type in your topic or title into the search box
- On the left-hand side, select the Available online filter under Availability, and Apply Filters
- Under Resource Type, select Books
- Click on a title and a cover sheet will appear
- Go to the View Online section to see a list of databases that have the book
- Click on one of the links to take you to the eBooks
- If it is from EBSCO eBooks, select PDF Full Text to download the book or scroll down to explore the Table of Contents
