EBSCO Audiobooks: Home

EBSCO offers a premium collection of high-quality audiobook titles on EBSCOhost, giving users 24/7 access to audiobooks that can be downloaded via Android or Apple devices.  Both fiction and non-fiction titles are available.  Check out up to 10 audiobooks at a time.

1. Download the EBSCO Audiobook App

You must first download the free EBSCO Audiobook app onto you smartphone or tablet before you download or listen to audiobooks.

2. Create a Personal Account

If you already have an EBSCO account, you may log in with it. If you do not have an account, you may create one or sign in with your Google account.

3. Find Your Audiobook

You can view all of the library's audio books by clicking on the search button.

4. Download Your Audiobook

Open the title of the desired audiobook. Click on the Borrow link located beneath the book cover. Choose the number of days to borrow. Up to 21. (If experimenting, choose 1. (Only one person may listen to an audiobook at a time.) NOTE: You must be logged into your personal account to download an audiobook.

5. Listen to Your Audiobook

Open your EBSCO Audiobook app on either your smartphone or tablet. (It will not appear on your computer or laptop.) Your borrowed title(s) will appear. Tap the desired title to open it. Tap the play button to listen.

Authenticate the EBSCO Audiobooks app with your Google Credentials

To sign in to the Audiobooks app with your Google credentials:

1. After installation, open the Audiobooks app and tap the Log In button.

2. Tap the Sign in with Google button on the Log In screen. You are brought to the EBSCO login screen on your device's browser.

3. Enter the email address or phone number with which you sign into Google and click Next.

4. Enter the password for your Google account and click Next. You are automatically redirected back to the Audiobooks app after signing in.

5. From the list of your checked out Audiobooks, tap the title you would like to download to the app.
