When is the library open?
Check the library's webpage or the webpage under the "Library & Learning Resources" tab.

How do I find articles?
InfoTrac Academic OneFile is a great place to start. Go to the webpage. Login with your name and password and click on the "Library & Learning Resources" tab, then on "Library Resources."

Can I do some of my research from home?
Yes, log into your webpage and click on the "Library & Learning Resources" tab, then on the Library Resources button.

How are books arranged in the library?
The library uses the Library of Congress Classification system. The collection is split between the 2nd and 3rd floors.

How do I find books?
Use the library's online catalog. From your webpage, click on the "Library & Learning Resources" tab, then on "Library Resources."

Can I access the Internet from my laptop in the library?
Yes, there is a wireless network in the building. Pick up a brief sheet of instructions at any service desk.

How do I find something my teacher put on reserve?
Go to the Circulation Desk and provide your instructor's name and the name of the course.

How do I print from the computers?
Printing is 10 cents per page, and you may pay with cash, credit, or debit card.  

How do I check out materials?
Your student ID number serves as your library card. You do not need a physical library card to check out materials at the Moorpark College Library. If you do not know your student ID number, simply access your MyVCCCD account to find it. The number can be found on your class schedule.
