Set up Google Scholar so that you can access your resource (free!) from the Moorpark College Library.

1) Open Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com/) and click on the options icon: 

2) Click on Settings:

 

3) Click on Library links:

4) Look up "Moorpark College Library":

  

5) Select (checkmark) the box for Moorpark College Library - Get it at MC Library and click Save.

      
You will now see:

on the right-hand side of your results page if we have the resource at the Moorpark College Library. Click the link, and you will be redirected to the Moorpark College Library database that indexes your article.

Google Advanced search

When searching Google, you can limit your search to a specific domain such as .edu, .gov. or .org.  Go the "Settings" link in the lower right-hand corner and select "Advanced Search."  Find the "Then narrow your results by...." section, and locate the search box for "site or domain:"  Enter .edu for educational institutions, .gov for local or federal government websites, or .org for organization.
